I am lovin 9am church.. Thought I would never say that in my life haha! I still make sure that my Sunday stays calm and collected hah no cliff jumping, swimming, or jamming to JB.. But I have been taking the day to get outside as well+ do some hobbies that I have been missing out on! I remember when I was little I would be so scared to ask my parents if I could go ride my bike with my friend Kris because it wasn't a very " Sunday " activity..Which in a way isn't if you are like off roading going all crazy haha.. My parents honestly would have been okay with it.. I just was always too scared to ask so I would sneak out the back gate saying I was going for a walk.. but bring " the bike" gasp. Riding my bike on a Sunday with Kristen and a few of my girlfriends is seriously one of my favorite memories. It feels amazing to get out and get some fresh air! We would always go and pet the horses at the stables and ride next to the canal in the beautiful winter Az weather. Since then I have ALWAYS made it a priority to get out on a Sunday to get some fresh air, disconnect from wifi or have a little adventure.. I am pretty sure that is way more sacred and reverent than sitting on our butts at home staying inside on our phones.. Because lets be honest.. We tell ourselves we are going to journal, read the scriptures, and keep the sabbath day holy by not going out.. But it always results in just watching a movie or sitting on the couch on our phone. Hey sometimes thats super relaxing for people.. its chill. Sadly, I KNOW that I will not write in my journal or be in tune to stuff when I am at home all day on a Sunday.. Thats just not how I function.. I will tell myself I am going to read and a few seconds later I am knocked out on the couch until dinner. So I take the journal, take the scriptures and head up the mountain..well usually. NOW because of the cold my Sundays usually involve a drive somewhere to see the valley, a temple, etc and I will just sit in the car to ponder. Back to this Sunday. This Sunday I got to play around with my camera a little ( Which I never have time for anymore) and head out to Antelope Island ( THE coolest place. ) to help model for Roolee Boutique with a girly friend! My cute friend Rae rae just has THE cutest blog in the world where she helps us stressed out future sister missionaries lives a little easier and finds modest outfits/ places to find the good mission stuff etc so that we can be ready to go for 18 months! Can I hear a hallelujah? Seriously.. She rocks. So anyways, Sistas!
